Do you love making jewelry and want to be part of a national jewelry brand?Original Hardware has an immediate opening for a part-time jewelry production assistant who can help our team of artisans fulfill wholesale and ecommerce orders and in our flagship retail store in Historic Downtown Littleton, CO.
You have proven experience in basic jewelry making techniques and can hit the ground running. You're positive, curious and value attention to detail with the work that you do. (You're also a fast learner who's willing to learn new skills, including the use of jewelry production tools like our laser welder.)
We're a small and mighty team, which means we ask our team members to support the business where needed. Our new addition also will be expected at times to support our retail operations as a retail sales person, working on the floor with customers during the regular work week.
We're looking for someone who can dedicate 15-20 hours per week to Original Hardware. Pay is commensurate with experience.
Main responsibilities of the jewelry production position include:
- Produce jewelry to OH specifications to fulfill wholesale orders
- Produce jewelry for retail and ecommerce orders--from producing product to packaging items for shipment
- Support our weekday Connected permanent jewelry appointments with friendly customer service-
- Experience with laser welders, or a willingness to learn a new skill!
- You have proven jewelrymaking skills, including wire wrapping and other common techniques and have experience with jewelry-making tools.
- Support our retail sales floor, when needed, during the weekday
- Sell Original Hardware jewelry to customers in the boutique
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable and personalized service to each and every customer.
- Help establish and meet monthly retail sales goals.
- Keep the floor clean and restocked.
- Tag product for floor and prepare and organize backstock.
- Take physical inventory of merchandise.
- Assist in the shipment of online and wholesale orders.
- Prepare and take inventory of packaging materials for point of sale and order shipment.
